Ana Laura González

Flutist

Flutist Ana Laura González is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She enjoys performing eclectic repertoire from classical to contemporary music, with an emphasis on academic music from Latin American and in particular, her home land. She is an active player in the central New York area and often appears with the Catskill Symphony Orchestra and as a guest with the Catskill Choral Society. Regionally, she has performed with the Clinton Symphony, Utica Symphony, Catskill Valley Wind Ensemble, the Guitar Society of Central New York, and the Colgate University Singers Orchestra. She is a member of the newly formed Excelsior Chamber Players Ensemble from Central New York. Dr. González serves as artist in residence of Flute at SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College, where she also teaches Music Theory and directs the Flute Ensemble.
