Wyatt Ambrose / Evan Jagels Duo – Live: Otsego County
Concert Description:
While traveling outside of his home in Oneonta NY, guitarist and composer Wyatt Ambrose is often asked the question – “Is there really anything going on out there?” Wyatt’s latest project, Live: Otsego County, aims to answer that question with a resounding “yes” in the form of a live recording featuring performances captured at venues throughout Otsego County with local collaborators.
For this project, Ambrose will be recording performances with a variety of collaborators, then choosing several tracks to be released as an EP on December 4th, 2026.
Wyatt Ambrose and Evan Jagels have been performing regularly as a duo for nearly a decade. Whether interpreting jazz standards and reaching for new heights in free improvisation, their music reflects a deep synergy only possible between close collaborators. For this concert Wyatt and Evan will be presenting a variety of original material arranged specifically for the duo setting, and the intimate environment of the Dunderberg Gallery.
